Chen Vuong Thai
About This Spot
Chen Vuong Thai is a quietly inviting takeout spot tucked away in Burlington, Colorado, offering a moment of calm and comfort for anyone passing through. As you arrive, there’s a gentle pause from the road’s usual rush—a humble storefront that speaks more of genuine care than flair, where the promise lies in the food and warmth of human connection rather than in loud signage or decor.
The rhythm here is thoughtful and unhurried, the kind of place where the focus is simply serving good, honest Thai food with a personal touch. Behind the scenes, you’ll find the steady flow of friendly voices and quick efficiency, a team clearly proud of what they prepare. Though dine-in isn’t on the menu, the smooth process of ordering and pickup feels seamless and considerate—something appreciated by locals and travelers making a pit stop alike.
Each dish carries a quiet richness—from fragrant green curry and shrimp pad thai to delicate golden tofu—that invites you to savor Thailand’s vibrant flavors without fuss. Whether you’re a fan of fresh seafood options, crave something comforting like hot and sour soup, or seek vibrant vegetarian choices, the menu holds moments of discovery for many tastes. And no visit would feel quite complete without the sweet, soothing coolness of Thai iced tea finishing the scene.
Chen Vuong Thai embodies a genuine neighborhood charm wrapped in the subtle joys of sharing a meal that feels handcrafted and straightforward. It’s a place that quietly earns a loyal following not by spectacle, but by the sincere happiness of satisfying hunger with care—turning quick stops into small celebrations of flavor.

Wow! A real hidden gem. Amazing food, friendly fast service! We’ll be stopping here every time we drive through town and will recommend to all our friends who pass through regularly. The only thing to note is that at the time we are here it was take-out only but as long as you know that ahead of time (which a quick search will tell ya) then it’s no big deal and the quality of food and service more than make up for it. What an absolutely awesome restaurant!

had a great experience. Stopped on my way to Branson and on the way back to denver! Owners were great. The server, Johnny is in high school was very friendly. A true jewel. Great food. However, it’s only takeout but good price good value.

If I were rating this place against the other Asian restaurants in the area, this would be the best food ever- then again, this is the only Asian restaurant within 50 miles . We ordered the Thai Spring Rolls and the Golden (deep-fried) Tofu for take-away as we were passing through the area. The service was quick and friendly and the food met expectations.

Found this spot by accident driving home from Denver. Had to come back to Denver, again and made it a point to stop here. Amazing food for vegans (me), and meat eaters alike. The outside is misleading, but don’t let that deter you. Had tofu peanut curry, but that’s not listed for recommendations. Carry out only.

Super fast and tasty Chinese takeout! Will come back if I pass through Burlington again. We ordered an hour before close and they asked us to wait in the car then brought it out five minutes later. Even though other reviews have photos of pho, it wasn't on the menu when we visited (likely temporarily reduced menu due to covid). I was indecisive and ordered the Happy Family (combo of meat and veggies), and it did not disappoint. Dinner (non-noodle) entrees come with steamed rice. Pros: super fast, great price, good quality and portion size Cons: looks sketchy at night

Great food. Funky looking place and only take out but food was first rate. We got Pad Thai and Singapore Noodles then enjoyed them at a nearby picnic table in Palmer Park.

I Love hole in the Wall places Although they did charge $5 for that drink... Not as good in the can as when they make it fresh I believe
